Tony Jimenez  
  Racing go-karts since the age of 12, Tony moved up to Formula Ford when he turned 18. From 1970 to 1976 he always finished in the top 10 with SCCA, SFR, and Cal Club. He then became half owner of Frey Racing (a racing parts supplier) where he had the opportunity to drive and race many types of cars. A graduate of the Bob Bondurant and British Racing schools, Tony has raced in the British Racing School series at Laguna Seca.

  8 years ago he started racing motorcycles in the 600 Super Sport class around the US, and Canada as well. Pro licensed with the AMA, AFM and CCS/Formula USA, he was one of the top 4 riders in the over 40 division for several years. He’s currently a teacher at the DP Racing Safety School at Laguna Seca, Thunder Hill, Sears Point, Buttonwillow, and Portland Raceway. He’s also driving his Honda S2000 sports car with the Green Flag Racing School, an open track school at Laguna Seca, Thunder Hill, and Buttonwillow. During the 2003 and2004 season Tony raced his 1979 35F Crossle C/F in the West Coast Regional Series of the SCCA.
2005 will find Tony racing a Swift DB1 in the Formula Ford series of the SCCA SF region.
